A detailed description of the largest oil and gas pipeline in China -- Beihai LNG terminal

Entering the North Sea LNG is like opening a magnificent picture - the 5km approach dike connects the 40.32 hectares of artificial sand island and the vast land of Southern Xinjiang, the scattered process pipelines occupy the North Sea LNG receiving station, and the mighty storage tanks stand on the sand island. The golden horse and iron horse set off huge waves in the South China Sea and built a pearl on the sea with great energy. Entering the North Sea LNG is like opening a magnificent picture - the 5km approach dike connects the 40.32 hectares of artificial sand island and the vast land of Southern Xinjiang, the scattered process pipelines occupy the North Sea LNG receiving station, and the mighty storage tanks stand on the sand island Watching the wide south China Sea, the supporting gas transmission pipelines run through 12 cities of Guangdong and Guangxi, radiating in the shape of a "dragon" in southern Xinjiang, like a soaring dragon, guarding the blue sea and blue sky of Bagui. No.1 Project significance As the first LNG terminal project in Southwest China, the construction of North Sea LNG is of great significance to drive regional economic development, promote industrial structure adjustment, and strengthen environmental protection. It plays an important role in realizing the "county to county" livelihood project of natural gas, promoting local economic development, and winning the blue sky defense war. It is a real people-friendly project. The project has benefited more than 47 million people in 14 prefectures and cities in Guangxi. The carbon dioxide emission reduction of alternative fuel is more than 30%, and that of alternative coal is more than 60%. The annual carbon dioxide emission reduction is more than 4.8 million tons, equivalent to planting 44million trees. More than 3.2 million small displacement cars have been suspended for one year. No.2 construction history The construction of Beihai LNG started in July, 2013, and the trial operation started in March, 2016. The LNG receiving capacity is 6million tons / year, and can reach 10million tons / year in the long term. Beihai LNG is built on Artificial Sand Island. The limited working space limits the arm of mechanical equipment. Complex processes put forward more stringent requirements for safety and quality management. The climate in Guangdong and Guangxi is humid and hot, with frequent typhoons and long flood seasons. There are many hills, rivers, ponds and paddy fields. During the construction period of more than three years, the project construction has been attacked by large typhoons as many as 13 times, and the project construction has experienced many difficulties. No.3 LNG Export Today, LNG ships have sailed across the sea to the North Sea for LNG, and then transported clean energy to the southwest through the natural gas pipeline network and LNG tankers that run through the land of Southern Xinjiang. The supporting natural gas transmission pipeline of the project is designed to have a diameter of 800mm and a length of 1318km. It is like a winding "long steel dragon" cruising among the green mountains in the south of the five ridges. Through 18 stations and 49 valve stations along the way, the natural gas is continuously transmitted to the main cities in the southwest region. LNG tanker transportation can cover Guangxi, Yunnan, Guizhou, Hunan, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan and other provinces. Heavy trucks loaded with LNG are like "energy express", which shuttle flexibly between scattered towns and thousands of factories, providing clean kinetic energy for enterprise production and residents' life.
