Current situation of LNG Development in China

The development of China's natural gas trade not only reflects the changes in the world natural gas market pattern, but also injects new vitality into the world natural gas market. In 2011, China's natural gas production exceeded 100 billion cubic meters for the first time, reaching 101.18 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.4%. In the first eight months of 2012, the total output reached 6.977 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%. Natural gas pipeline construction is also in full swing. In 2011, more than 5000 kilometers of long-distance natural gas pipelines were added nationwide, and the total length of trunk and branch natural gas pipelines in China exceeded 50000 kilometers. On October 16, 2013, the third west to east gas pipeline project started in Beijing, Xinjiang and Fujian at the same time. The total length of the project is 7378 km and the designed annual gas transmission capacity is 30 billion cubic meters. With the continuous increase of LNG imports on the sea and the construction of LNG liquefaction plants on the land, the supply of domestic resources has been guaranteed. In 2011, China imported 12.215 million tons of liquefied natural gas (about 17.1 billion cubic meters), about 1.3 times the import volume of last year. China's offshore LNG imports will increase year by year in the future, and it is expected to reach 40 million tons in 2015, with an average annual compound growth rate of more than 30%. Today, China's three major disposable energy sources are oil, natural gas and coal. And natural gas can rank second in the world. In recent years, China's domestic oil producing areas have suffered serious losses due to the oil crisis. And at the same time, the large-scale use of nature makes the environment seriously polluted. This makes liquefied natural gas, which is both environmental protection and clean fuel, come out. Today, in the international energy consumption market, natural gas energy consumption can account for 28% of the total consumption, but it can only account for 2.8% in China, which is one of the reasons for China's derailment from the world market. At present, the devices for transporting natural gas in China are also complicated. The devices for installing liquefied natural gas are generally small vacuum insulated tanks with small volume. And the transportation process is slow and inefficient. Liquefied natural gas tank cars are generally used for transportation, most of which are semi-trailer. However, with the improvement of science and technology, railway transportation will also be selected in the transportation process, which will be widely used. Facing the problem of natural gas installation, China also adopts the regional differentiation type, which is generally smaller in remote areas, while the installation in Pudong, Shanghai is more inclined to liquefaction, and the load type is selected for the Central Plains. At present, China is still a developing country with a large population, and its economy is also in the process of slow development, which leads to a great increase in China's demand for energy, and our country has been taking oil as the main development energy. However, as for the current situation of world oil development, the lower the oil price, the more our country can not make ends meet in this respect. At present, the demand for natural gas in China's heavy industrial areas is growing slowly, and most of China has used natural gas as an energy-saving fuel. With the growth of people's living standards, China's natural gas market also has a good opportunity to develop.
