Control principle and application of tail gas incinerator: In the tail gas treatment process of natural gas purification plants, the tail gas incinerator is a key equipment, whose main function is to completely oxidize the residual toxic and harmful substances in the tail gas before discharge. By taking a series of measures, such as replacing the ignition gun with a higher flame detection accuracy, increasing the flow rate of cooling protection gas, and eliminating the side air outlet of the pilot burner, the service life of the pilot burner has been greatly improved, ensuring the stable operation of the tail gas incinerator. ‌

Tail gas treatment renovation project: In order to further reduce the emission of harmful substances in the tail gas, the Moxi Natural Gas Purification Plant has carried out a sulfur recovery unit tail gas treatment renovation project. This project aims to reduce the concentration of sulfur dioxide emissions from exhaust gas and provide a guarantee for the winter supply of natural gas in the region. The project was completed and put into operation in, reflecting the importance attached to environmental protection and public health. ‌

 Natural gas processing is the process of removing water vapor, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan, and carbon dioxide from natural gas. The main equipment includes dehydration unit, desulfurization unit, decarbonization unit, and light hydrocarbon recovery unit.

Light hydrocarbon recovery refers to the process of recovering heavier components of natural gas, such as methane or ethane, in liquid form. Among them, propane butane mixture becomes liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and pentane and its above components become light oil. Light hydrocarbon recovery generally uses propane refrigeration and mixed refrigeration to achieve different recovery efficiencies.

 

Project: Jiulongshan Natural Gas Purification Plant, Guizhou city, China

Design scale: 120 Nm3/d tail gas treatment device is mainly used to treat the Claus tail gas of the sulfur recovery unit, as well as the liquid sulfur pool waste gas of the sulfur recovery unit and the TEG waste gas of the dehydration unit.

After treatment, the tail gas can reach 400mg/Nm3.

The annual production time of the device is 8000 hours,

Claus exhaust gas is 48.8132 kmol/h,

TEG exhaust gas is 2.2197 kmol/h,

Liquid sulfur pool exhaust gas is 0.7682 kmol/h.
