Our company's 26000Nm3/d dry desulfurization project is currently under construction in Xinjiang province，China. When removing CO2 and H2S for purifying natural gas, it is commonly used methods include alcohol amine method and molecular sieve adsorption purification, today we introduce a dry method to remove the acid gas in natural gas.   This project uses dry iron oxide desulfurization to remove hydrogen sulfide from natural gas, the hydrogen sulfide is removed to below 3mg/Nm3, with a pressure loss of ≤ 30kPa, and the replacement time of the desulfurization agent is 90 days (3 months). Flow rate: 26000Nm3/d Pressure: 1.6MPa Temperature: 0-40 ℃ Hydrogen sulfide content: 200mg/Nm3 Room temperature iron oxide desulfurization agent is mainly composed of active Fe2O3 and added with various additives. Room temperature iron oxide desulfurizer is a new and efficient dry gas room temperature desulfurizer with strong adaptability, which can work under normal temperature and pressure or pressurized conditions. It has the characteristics of simple equipment, convenient operation, large sulfur capacity, high purification degree, and strong adaptability in use. Widely applicable for the removal of H2S from natural gas, gas furnace desulfurization, CNG natural gas, coal gas, coke oven gas, shift gas, food carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide regeneration, petroleum refining gas, biogas, and other gases, and also has a certain effect on the removal of organic sulfur. The main mechanism of iron oxide desulfurization is catalysis, oxidation, and adsorption. When natural gas containing H2S passes through oxygen During the transformation of the iron bed, an exothermic reaction occurs at atmospheric pressure and is catalyzed to oxidize to sulfur ions on the surface of the iron oxide, Its products are adsorbed by iron oxide to achieve desulfurization purposes. This technical proposal adopts dual tower series operation. When replacing the desulfurizer, the single tower operates.
