At 10:00 am on July 10th, the Zhouwan Purification Plant was successfully ignited, marking the transition of the 3.88 billion cubic meter production capacity construction project in the northern part of the Yanchang Gas Field from construction to production. Our company's designed and manufactured acid removal unit and sulfur recovery unit were put into operation simultaneously on this project. This not only demonstrates our company's technical strength in sled mounted technology, amine based deacidification, and chelated iron desulfurization processes, but also marks a new level of cooperation between the two parties.
The Zhouwan Purification Plant is the final project for the construction of the northern production capacity in the Yan'an gas field of Yan'an Petroleum Group, with an annual capacity of 15 billion cubic meters. It covers a total area of 356 acres and is mainly responsible for collecting natural gas produced by surrounding 400 square kilometers of gas wells. After dehydration, decarbonization, desulfurization and other processes to meet the national first-class gas standards, the product gas is finally transported to the provincial gas transmission pipeline, assuming the important responsibility of ensuring the gas supply for people's livelihood in Shaanxi Province.
Since the start of the project in August last year, all personnel involved in the construction of the purification plant project have overcome multiple challenges such as tight schedule, heavy tasks, and low temperatures in winter and scorching heat in summer, working day and night at full capacity to promote the project construction. The project was completed by CCCC in May this year, three months ahead of schedule, achieving the expected goals of fast progress, good engineering quality, and complete supporting facilities. At the same time, it also set a record for the largest and fastest construction of similar projects in the Yanchang Group.
